Where is the Hotel Westminster Paris?
Surrounding the hotel, are designer shops like Cartier. Cafe de las Paix is just a moments walk as is Palais Garnier, the Opera House of Paris. It is next to Place Vendome, and the Tuileries Gardens are just a few minutes walk as is the Musee de Louvre. It stands to reason that Hotel Westminster Paris is itself, very chic and very sophisticated, yet very friendly.
The history of the hotel
The hotel has a very interesting history as the Duke of Westminster stayed here a lot in the 19th century, and the hotel was named in honor of his patronage. The hotel uses his coat of arms as the coat of arms for the hotel. There have been many distinguished guests in the past, and many distinguished guests now, but the hotel assures discretion about who these are.
The discrete hotel
The hotel has always prided itself on being an intimate and discrete hotel, and this is why it has so many loyal patrons who come time and time again to Hotel Westminster Paris. We were told that an American man used to come as a child in the 1950’s with his grandparents, and he still comes to this day.
The Furnishings of the Hotel
The hotel is full of 18th and 19th-century furnishings and period pieces. Chandeliers and paintings abound in the hotel. It pays heed to the new needs of the modern traveler, and there are sympathetic renovations occurring that retain all of the charms of the hotel with some more modern conveniences. The images here show you the discerning taste of the renovations and the integrity in maintaining authenticity.
The hotel is grand, and it is an elegant hotel. It has that very Parisian feel that people do want, particularly those who are romantic. The big thing about this hotel is that you do feel at home here. It is a warm hotel, where service is there, but it is discreetly done. The biggest problem with the Hotel Westminster Paris is leaving it. It is very easy just to feel very Parisian within the hotel itself.

Wow, the hotel looks traditional yet so lovely and chic. This post makes me so jealous 🙂
It was a lovely hotel and everything that represents Paris to me.
Such a lovely hotel. My brother-in-law-to-be stayed here when he and his family visited Paris a couple of years ago. We stayed somewhere a little more basic and I was really quite envious of them. Next time I might just splash out and stay here. I could never tire of Paris.
I could never tire of Paris either, and this hotel was special
This is everything a Paris hotel should be. Oh la la. Call me super impressed. Also in love with that heated towel rack 😀
